Days 3 & 4 - At Sea and a Trip to Medical

When we had our staterooms set up we had the two twins pushed together in each room. All 3 kids slept in one bed the first night and Will and I were in the adjoining room. The room attendant had asked if we wanted the bunk beds and I guess I did not quite understand what he was saying so I just said no. All three in one bed was a bit of a cluster and I happened to look up and saw that there were two pull down beds. Huh.... that must have been what her was talking about. On night 2 I had the beds pulled down and our room now slept 4 people comfortably and the kids were super excited to sleep on a bunk!!! Meanwhile.... CJ gets the better end of the stick by having the huge bed all to himself :-)

(The next night we split the bottom bed to give then more room)

When we all woke up on day 3 we had breakfast and sent Ash and Mike to the Adventure Ocean center from 9-12 for structured play activities and CJ went to the Nursery for those 3 hours. Oh man.... 3 hours with no kids!!!! WE WENT TO THE GYM!! Ha, we even enjoyed a delicious adult beverage :-)

In the afternoon we took the kids to the pool and they made some friends. It was a beautiful day! We also spent some time on deck 5 outside looking at the water. Kids love sitting by the rails and looking at the wide open sea. Hehe we also played "Simon Says" and turned it into an exercise game!! Simon Says do Jumping Jacks, Simon Says run in place, Simon Says hop in a circle.... You name we did it. Fun little way to get them active.

7pm rolled around and kids went back to Adventure Ocean and the Nursery until 10pm. Will and I enjoyed dinner together and had a few drinks in the Casino.

Day 4
So lets talk about CJ shall we.... He's smart. VERY smart. Remember his protest sessions from Newcastle?? Well we thought for sure he was just genius and upped the ante on us for a second :-) He woke up at 7 and was walking fine. We said we were going to breakfast and all of a sudden he cannot walk. Hmmmmm..... highly suspect if you ask me. He kept grabbing his knee and leg while walking with a limp. Sadly... because we know CJ and the great lengths he will go to be carried, we thought this was an elaborate plan to be in the carrier all day :-) I know... We are terrible parents!

No he was hurt. Kids went back to Adventure Ocean for the morning and Will and I sat in medical with CJ making sure he was ok. The kids is a bruiser so I was very concerned he did indeed hurt his knee. Doc looked at it, it was doubled in size and some discoloration. He banged it on something hard. The knee itself was not warm and he was not running a fever so the doc was not too concerned. He did not waste our time with X-rays since he was able to manipulate CJ's legs with little resistance. Gave us some pain medication and a free, clean bill of health. As soon as we left medical, miraculously CJ can walk again.... Hmmmm... I still say he was faking :-)

There were quite a bit of kids of kids in Adventure Ocean in the morning session and needless to say my two goons were not on their best behavior. We were given a bad progress report so the decision was made to keep them out for the rest of the day. We have 7 days left so we want the staff to like out kids :-)

We spent the rest of the day in the pool and playing in the sun! Made some friends along the way :-)
