Everyday at 5pm the spouses gather at the park and let the kids run wild for a while. We end walking down at 4:30 and head back when we see Will getting off the bus. Our house is 3 away from the park. Getting CJ out the door is a process and the kids do not like waiting. So I watch help them cross the street and they just head to the park. I catch up when CJ is out the door in one piece. He thinks he needs a few pairs of socks, two fleece zipups, blankets, toys.. basically everything he came with... He's funny. The one thing he needs and wont wear is the HAT!!! It is cold now..
Because we do this everyday and usually the same people show up, kids are learning who these new people are. Basically if your house is on the street with the park, you go. The families at the bottom of the hill do not normally make the trek, And by "trek" I mean 5 minute walk :-)
FRIENDS!!!! Kids are meeting friends and it is so cool! In Houston we didn't really have kids their ages. They were much older.

Will's brother Ben (3) is on the stairs with CJ and the little lady in pink is Sky. Her and Ash will be in the same class.   Lots of fun can be had on a slide :-) |
