Blizzard Wednsday

We were informed that a huge storm system was headed our way and it did not disappoint! Today was supposed to be Mike's last day of school until January and it was cancelled. ENL closed the offices so Will worked from home today. The buses and cars were not running in or out of Olympia so we were stuck here. Good thing I had sufficient food :-) The Community Center was closed so no gym, no convenient store, and no restaurant.

We stayed indoors and waited the storm out. As I write this it is 3pm and still going strong outside. Will and I thought we would be proactive and shovel this morning so we got out there and cleared the path to our door. A few hours later it was snowed in. Shoveled again and snowed in. We gave up. The residential team has been to our place and also shoveled twice.

At what point does the snow go over the top of the porch :-)

Can not see Inna's house anymore and it is not even that far away

It's a rather blustery day

We put the kids down for a nap and decided that for Will's lunch break we would have some adult play time in the snow. We let out our inner child for an hour this afternoon :-)

Time for some sledding!

Trucking through the snow

He's Handsome :-)

Yep... Snowboarding on sleds

Soft fluffy powder to land in

Shot ego... must try again :-)

Same ending

My turn

Man... for a girl who lived on Bristol and Swain Mountain growing up, and a girl who snowboarded for a good portion of my life, I look like a rookie! Unacceptable :-) And yes... I ride "goofy" footed.

"I got this..."

BAM!! I don't got this!

Take 2 - riding switch

I look more stable but I wan't - still the same ending :-)

I'm going to just sit and smile!
