Sea Shipment Pt 2

As we were unpacking every thing, it was amazing listening to the kids narrate what was going on. Pure excitement on the toys being back, their movies, books, and outdoor stuff just overall happiness.

Our house is starting to look more like ours and it feels great having familiar things in a not so familiar place.

Our living room - We brought the two recliners in the above picture with us.

What's a house without a proper sit-up bench and free weights underneath :-)

When your in grad school and homeschooling your daughter, you acquire lots of book. This is not even half of what I am using with Ash. I am picking up a 1yr curriculum when we get back to LA in January.

Miss Ashlynn's room

The 4th room upstairs we turned into a playroom for the kids. We brought the daybed with us and turned it into a couch. There is a trundle underneath as well if anyone stays over.

We also hung a bunch of visuals and manipulatives for Ash since I am for the most part homeschooling her. She enjoyed these at our house in Houston so we brought them along. Each day I focus on a different letter so she picks it and helps me change out the info boards. The same thing with the calendar. It is a week long with tabs for today, tomorrow, and yesterday. She can also place a weather card underneath for what the current weather is.

The closet is big enough for a small play space as well. I hung more posters for the kids on shapes, Solar System, United States, Human Body, Senses, Geography, and counting Money.

My little ducks breaking in the play room with a little Monsters Inc.

We still have some unpacking to do for the outside stuff, 7 bikes to build (4 adult and 3 kids), and start moving some stuff into the shed that will not be used right way.
