The only thing that I can really talk about for October is Halloween. What fun we had! Two jam packed weekends of festivals and trunk or treating and I have more candy than I know what to do with. Yea, that is just what I need while trying to shed these last few stubborn pounds of being pregnant :-)
Kids wanted to do a little throwback to 1985 when Will and Cori dressed as a Vampire and Black Cat. CJ was odd man out with his Spiderman request.
The weekend before Halloween we went into The Woodlands for the festival and trick or treating from vendor to vendor in Town Green Park. I have to say, I was very impressed with what they put together! We got there right when it started before the mass crowd happened.
Each stand had fun little games they had to complete in order to get candy. I love it. WORK FOR THE GOODIES!
Ring Toss was a hit. However it was really funny watching the kids try and cheat and still not make a ringer :-)
Next up was mini golf
CJ, my all bull no grace having CJ, took that golf club and started wielding it around like a bat swinging at everything. Papa had to step in an show him the ropes of golfing
And we are back to beating the hell out of the golf ball
Next stations were gym vendors. They had to hop through the ladder to earn candy
Then they went over to the lady with the 8lb medicine ball and had to pick it up and slam it down. They had to do as many as possible in 12 seconds. Ash thought it was "who could hold it the longest".
Surprisingly, CJ did a great job
She was blushing so bad when she saw Captain America! She told him he was SOOOO CUTE!
Volcano drinks and Circus Performers
My own little tubby Pumpkin
Trunk or Treat in Bentwater
Retro Disco Truck :-)
