My Little Boy Is Not So Little Anymore!!!!

I'm a week late at this but Mike stated Primary 1 (Pre-K on a Kinder/1st grade curriculum). How has this happened!!!! When did this happen!!!! Please Father Time... Slow the HELL down and let me play catch up!!!

"I'm going to fly to the bus mom!!"

NO MORE CARPOOLS FOR ME!!!!! My baby gets to ride the bus!!!!! He was so excited!

I did however ride the bus with him on the first day and he was not thrilled about it. He told me that he was a big kid and didn't need his momma anymore... YES..... Tears almost fell out but if he saw me, I probably would have gotten yelled at :-)

He is turning into such a little man and I am so excited to see how he blossoms this year. Mrs Grayston emailed me today telling me that Michael is settling into P1 like a duck to water. He is always trying to do the right thing and follows directions extremely well. So proud of this kid!

After we rested it was time to take the kids up. To get to the hill we had to cross this little tide pool like thing. For most it was easy but not so much for Mosya. She caught a wave and got washed ashore. Then got distracted by the Salmon that came jumping upstream. She just had to check that out.

Then it was Atlas's turn to check it out before it jumped back into the water

And then Ash needed to see what this was. She pushed it back in and let it swim off before becoming a snack for the dogs

The kids kept saying - "Lets go higher mom! Higher"

So up we went

They did so great and not one of them complained!

Ashlynn's jacket has wings on the back and she asked me if they would help her fly up :-)
